Claim 0.5 CPE for attending today's brief.

The Daily Cyber Threat Brief is hosted by a qualified cybersecurity professional running a daily threat briefing. Each weekday episode earns 0.5 CPE credit toward cybersecurity certification CPE requirements. On the first of every month we will email you a summary of every day you attested, with a printable certificate. Self-attestation, honor system, one credit per day.

Your responsibility: verify with your specific certification body which CPE category this content falls under, and whether self-reported credits are accepted by that body. Each body has its own categories, annual caps, and submission rules.

How does Daily Cyber Threat Brief CPE work?

Who can claim CPE for this show?

Any working cybersecurity professional whose certification body accepts self-reported technical content credits. Confirm with your specific certification body what they accept, which CPE category this content would fall under, and how to submit. We provide the dated proof; the categorization is yours to handle.

How many credits per episode?

0.5 CPE per attended episode. A full week of attendance is 2.5 credits. A typical month of weekday attendance is roughly 10 CPE.

What proof will I get?

On the first of each month we email you a CPE summary listing every date you attested, plus a printable certificate with your total credits for the month. Save the certificate for your records and for any submissions you make to your certification body.

Can I claim credit for replays?

Yes, but only on the same day. The show airs live every weekday at 5am PT / 8am ET, and the replay is available immediately after on YouTube and on podcast platforms. Either counts toward your CPE for that day. You must attest the same calendar day you watch (Eastern Time); previous days are closed. Make this part of your morning routine.

Is this an accredited program?

No. The Daily Cyber Threat Brief is not a CPE-accredited program through any specific certifying body. We provide tracked, dated proof of attendance for self-reported credit. It is the attendee's responsibility to verify the CPE policy with each cybersecurity certification body they will be using these credits for, and to understand which category this content aligns under for that specific body.
